Our Mission & Vision
IPAAL INC is committed to helping underprivileged children ages 7 to 17 discover the joy of music. We provide each child with a musical instrument, a laptop, and a one-year subscription to an online music learning program for their chosen instrument. Our mission is to give them the tools and resources to learn, grow, and pursue their musical interests. In our first three years, we aim to support 100 children, helping them build skills and confidence through music.

Our Story
IPAAL INC started with a vision in 1980 when Henry Gregory Lewis and I founded PAAL (Performing Artists Assistance League) in Los Angeles, CA. We wanted to help performing artists by offering support in their chosen fields. Sadly, Henry passed away in 1982, and PAAL went dormant for over 40 years. In May 2024, I revived the spirit of PAAL by creating IPAAL INC (Irving’s Performing Artists Assistance League) in New York. We are a charitable, not-for-profit organization focused on helping children and young adults.
Our goal at IPAAL INC is simple: we provide musical learning opportunities for underprivileged children ages 5 to 20. Every child we support gets the instrument of their choice, a laptop, and a one-year subscription to a music learning program. We also offer assistance to kids interested in learning about podcasting and short video production for platforms like YouTube and TikTok.
The work we do is not just a job for us; it’s a mission. Helping these children learn and grow through music and creative media is deeply rewarding. We believe that providing these opportunities makes a real difference in their lives.
